Carter capitalized on a blunder by chess club favorite Patrick Selby in the final match of the Weber Chess Club end of year tournament.
Patrick was awarded the most improved player this year with his USCF rating going up 317 points from August 2014 to May 2015

There is a tournament at Horn Elementary this Saturday May 30th that starts at 9AM for K-6 participants rated and unrated sections and team competition.
