Arun represented Weber well at Ice Harbor

Arun did a great job at Ice Harbor representing Weber Elementary at the Ice Harbor Chess Tournament.  He played hard and never gave up.  I saw him smiling and focusing on his position.

Peter remains undefeated and the Vigil Boys all forfeit, well, it wasn't their fault their sister Crissy got her braces off and that was the only time I could fit her in to the orthodontists and our schedule.  I didn't get pictures either.  We will go two more rounds, and see if Peter can hold on undefeated, but even so a win next week will lock him up as Weber Champion.

Also I will be coming back next year for Chess Club, at first I thought I would have another commitment but such is life, it didn't materialize.

Round 3 results and round 4 pairings

Sam Callahan and Peter Adams are the only undefeated players so far and playing next week.  Teya Kerns used her drummers cool to defeat Teddy Kim in a last second game, the clocks were on and Teddy lost on time.  Yusef will play Joey next week in a battle of 2 point players.  And someone remind me to take pictures next week.

Longfellow is having a free tournament on Saturday May 3rd for a 5 round of game 30, please arrive at 9am for registration.
